<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device improved in its aperture ratio, light emission efficiency, and service life. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 1 comprises: a substrate 10; a plurality of polyhedral structures 11 located on the substrate 10; and a plurality of pixels 20 provided on the substrate 10. Each pixel 20 has three kinds of light-emitting element parts (21R, 21G and 21B) which are different from each other in luminous color. The light-emitting element part has a first electrode, a second electrode, and a light-emitting layer disposed between the first and second electrodes. The light-emitting element part is provided on an inclined plane of the polyhedral structure 11 provided on the substrate 10.
