Provided is an information processing device with which it is possible to execute a more diverse range of processes on display data on the basis of the movement of the device proper. An information processing device (1) comprises: a display unit (11), further comprising a display screen; a contact detection unit (12) which detects a contact operation on the display screen and the location of the contact thereon; a motion detection unit (13) which detects information which denotes the motion of the device; an operation mode selection unit (14) which, while the location of the contact which is detected by the contact detection unit (12) is included in any of one or more operation regions which are defined in the display screen, selects a prescribed operation mode associated with the operation region; a display process distinguishing unit (15) which distinguishes the content of a display process instructed for the display data which is displayed on the display screen on the basis of a combination of the operation mode and the information which represents the motion of the device; and a display process control unit (16) which, when the information which represents the motion of the device is detected by the motion detection unit (13) while the operation mode is being selected, executes the display process distinguished by the display process distinguishing unit (15) on the display data.
