ELECTROPHORETIC DISPLAY COATING SOLUTION AND METHOD OF PREPARING SAME

An electrophoretic display coating solution, said solution comprising microcapsules. The microcapsules contain a suspension and a plurality of charged pigment particles dispersed throughout the suspension. The microcapsules are dispersed throughout an adhesive. The adhesive is obtained by dissolving in water a water-soluble macromolecular compound having a density of 5%-20%. When the adhesive dries, at least one of the microcapsules therein changes shape. Also provided is a method of preparing said electrophoretic display coating solution as well as a method of using said same to prepare an electrophoretic display assembly.
