PURPOSE: A coke oven is provided to charge a carbonizing chamber with materials with proper water content by forming a water content measurement unit in a hopper unit of the coke oven. CONSTITUTION: A coke oven comprises hopper units(10), transfer units(20), feeding units(30), spray units(40), measurement units(60), and a controller(70). Materials are put into the hopper units. The transfer units are connected to the hopper units and transfer the materials. The feeding units are connected to the transfer units and are installed in the charging holes of a carbonizing chamber. The spray units are installed in the feeding units and inject water to the materials. The measurement units are installed in the hopper units and measure the water content of the materials. The controller controls the water content of the spray unit by recognizing the water content of the materials through the measurement unit. |
