<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique capable of identifying and executing operation of an image switching process and operation of a screen scrolling process according to a head movement of a user, and executing operation by the head movement with more accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A head mounted display device comprises a control unit 310 which can execute operation by a head movement of a user with more accuracy, by specifying the head movement of the user according to information detected by a head movement detection unit 200, then executing a process desired by the user corresponding to angular velocity of the head movement of the user, and preventing a returning movement of the head movement of the user from being reflected on the process.
