<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method of a double glazed glass having a glazing channel, capable of firmly engaging the glazing channel to the double glazed glass to increase the pull-out load of the double glazed glass from the glazing channel, without any harmful effect on the life of the double glazed glass. <P>SOLUTION: An inside corner 14A of the groove of a glazing channel 14 is coated with an adhesive 38 from a nozzle 42 of a coating device 40. The amount of the adhesive 38 applied to one side is in the range from 0.45 to 1.2 g per 10 cm of the glazing channel 14 in the longitudinal direction. The whole area of the inside corner 14A is coated with the adhesive 38 by the coating device 40 moving along the inside corner 14A. The coating area of the adhesive 38 extends to the underside of an internal soft material 32 which functions as a stopper piece. After completion of coating with the adhesive 38, edges of a double glazed glass 12 are fitted to the groove of the glazing channel 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
