<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust passage component capable of ensuring a drain passage without connecting a pipe directly to a secondary heat exchanger and restraining the intrusion of large foreign matter into the drain passage. <P>SOLUTION: An exhaust top 11 provided at a water heater includes an upstream opening 21 into which exhaust from the secondary heat exchanger side flows, and a downstream opening 23 for allowing exhaust to flow out of the internal space of the exhaust top 11 to the exhaust cylinder side. A drain passage opening 25 is formed to discharge condensed water from the internal space of the exhaust top 11. The exhaust top 11 is composed by welding sheet metal components such as an exhaust top back face upper side component 31, an exhaust top back face lower side component 32 and an exhaust top front side component 33. These sheet metal components are provided with recesses 45, 51, etc. formed by drawing. The recess 45 is formed in a range of overlapping a part of the recess 51 and the drain passage opening 25 to form the drain passage that leads to the drain passage opening 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
