<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive force control device for a vehicle capable of preventing the so-called drive force loss at pre-shifting during HEV travel of a vehicle including a prime mover and an electric motor as a drive source. <P>SOLUTION: The drive force control device, in inertia phases t3 to t6 of an up-shift from an odd stage to an even stage during HEV travel, makes motor torque Te zero, switches a first meshing mechanism SM1 to a neutral state in which connection between a drive gear of a gear train for establishing a front stage and a first drive shaft is shut off, and then switches it to a state in which a drive gear of a gear train for establishing a gear shift stage with a smaller gear ratio than the next stage is connected with the first drive shaft. Then, the drive force control device increases second clutch torque Tc2 from TQ1 to TQ4 so that inertia torque of an engine will be transmitted and makes up torque for a motor torque Te portion that has been zero. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
