PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of generating such an image that the depth feeling of a region where a parallax value is converted changes only at stereoscopic vision without displaying character information in displaying as a two-dimensional image by synthesizing parallax information, converting a parallax value and generating a stereoscopic image thereby.

SOLUTION: The present invention includes: an image input section that inputs an image for reference in stereoscopic image generation and parallax information compatible with the image; a conversion information input section for inputting conversion information for converting the parallax information; a parallax information conversion section that executes conversion processing for the parallax information based on the parallax conversion information and outputs the conversion parallax information; and a stereoscopic image generating section that generates images for right and left eyes from images for output, with reference to the conversion parallax information.
