<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting a TFC (Transport Format Combination) in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). <P>SOLUTION: A WTRU is configured to process two or more CCTrCHs (Coded Composite Transport Channels) for uplink transmission.
