<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more speedily and easily confirm details of a subject being a tracking object. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic camera includes: an imaging unit which images a subject image and generates an image; a selecting unit which continuously selects a focus detection object region at the time of imaging by the imaging unit based on the image generated by the imaging unit; a display unit which can display the image generated by the imaging unit; a generating unit which cuts a part corresponding to the focus detection object region from the image generated by the imaging unit and generates an image for tracking object confirmation; and a control unit which superimposes a through image for composition confirmation based on the image generated by the imaging unit with the image for tracking object confirmation to display the superimposed image on the display unit at the time of imaging by the imaging unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
