<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating device having a ball balancer that can accurately detect an unbalance amount as well as quickly and positively compensate the unbalance amount by separating the number of rotations for detecting the unbalance amount and the number of rotations for compensating the unbalance amount. <P>SOLUTION: A rotating device having a ball balancer comprises: a rotating body; an electric motor that rotationally drives the rotating body; an unbalance detection means that detects an unbalance amount of the rotating body; and a control means that controls the rotational speed of the rotating body based on the unbalance amount obtained by the unbalance detection means. The rotational speed consists of repetition of a first rotational speed at which a centrifugal force applied to stored objects that are contained in the rotating body exceeds a gravitational force, and a second rotational speed at which a gravitational force applied to a part of the stored objects exceeds the centrifugal force. After the unbalance amount is obtained from the unbalance detecting means as the rotating body is rotated at the first rotational speed, the first rotational speed and the second rotational speed are repeated only when the unbalance amount exceeds a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
