<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of suppressing the increasing of the temperature of a high pressure pump 21 to the high temperature even when the discharge pressure is further increased in a fuel supply pump. <P>SOLUTION: A leak recovery groove direct communication passage 69, which is branched from a fuel supply passage 13 to a pressurizing chamber 16 to guide the fuel to a leak recovery groove 68 without passing through the pressurizing chamber 16, is connected to the leak recovery groove 68. Thereby, low temperature fuel before being compressed and pressurized in the pressurizing chamber 16 is introduced into the leak recovery groove 68 at low temperature. Thus, the high pressure pump 21 can be cooled, so that it is possible to suppress the increasing of the temperature of the high pressure pump 21 to the high temperature even when the discharge pressure is further increased in the fuel supply pump. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
