<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular meter having a high design effect, without making a shadow of a pointer visible. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicular meter 1 includes an upper case 10 (a first meter case), a dial 20, an LED 32 (a light source), a pointer 40, and a lower case (a second meter case). On the dial 20, a print portion 22 (a portion making inside a case invisible) which makes inside the case invisible is formed on the dial 20, and on the other hand, an outside clear portion 23 (a portion making inside the case visible) which makes inside the case visible is formed. The LED 32 makes light incident from a lower end surface 20a of the dial 20, and transmits it in the dial 20 to illuminate the print portion 22. Between the upper case 10 and the lower case 50, a wall portion 53 is provided, which prevents a shadow of the pointer 40 formed by the irradiation of the LED 32 from extending out to a design portion 52 of the lower case 50 which is visible through the outside clear portion 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
