<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power distribution monitoring control device and a monitoring control system for an electric power distribution system, which enable multihop communication by making an upper layer of a layer structure conform to the ZigBee (R), making a lower layer conform to the Ethernet (R), and properly managing a transmitting/receiving destination. <P>SOLUTION: A center device 103 which is a power distribution monitoring control device of a first embodiment and slave stations 131 to 143 are composed of a switch portion 7 and a core portion 8. The switch portion 7 comprises: three ports 2a, 2b, 2c provided on one side; one port 2d provided on the other side; and a transmitting/receiving processing portion 3.
