<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which reduces iron loss of a stator core and improves operation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A stator core 41 has a plastic deformation part 148 in which stress concentrates and plastic deformation occurs. That is, the plastic deformation of the plastic deformation part 148 allows the stator core 41 to be held in a sealed container 1 in a state that the stator core 41 is fitted into the sealed container 1 through shrink fitting.
