<p>The invention relates to a coating composition, more specifically to an underbody coating composition, comprising a polymeric binder, filler and an anticorrosive pigment. The polymeric binder is made of a rosin modified alkyd resin, a maleic resin and a drier material. The binders of the present invention allow the formulation of coating compositions superior to those formulated from conventional binders. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of the said coating composition.</p> |
