The single cell comprises a first housing part (1.1) and a second housing part (1.2), where the housing parts are electrically mutually separated by an insulating housing frame (1.3) partially made of a thermoplastic material (1.3.1), and an electrode sheet pile arranged between the first and second housing parts in the housing frame. An insert is integrated in the housing frame and formed of a material whose melting point is higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic material. The insert is formed in a film-like manner using a particulate or fibrous material.
