PURPOSE: A bidet and a control method thereof are provided to include a recording device for recording cleaned genital and anal regions, thereby providing a cleansing result for a user on a real time basis. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle unit(200) is located on one lower end of a toilet seat unit. A camera part(300) is located on the nozzle unit. A control panel unit controls operation of the nozzle unit. A display unit is installed on the control panel unit. A camera controller(600) is installed on the control panel unit for controlling operation of the camera part. An image storage part(700) stores an image recorded by the camera part according to a control signal of the camera controller. A light source part(800) is arranged near the camera part. A cleaning water supply unit(900) provides cold or warm water to the nozzle unit.
