<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device whose detection level is stable without erroneous detection, and a method for manufacturing an operation body for the input device. <P>SOLUTION: In a magnetic body 22 embedded in a spherical operation body 21, multiple substantially columnar projection parts 24 are radially projected toward a surface of the operation body 21 from a core part 23 at a predetermined interval and a coated layer 31 having a predetermined thickness and made of an insulation resin is formed on the surface so that a second virtual spherical body is configured at an end part of the coated layer 31. An input device is configured by using the spherical operation body 21 formed by fixing a position of the magnetic body 22 and insert-molding the magnetic body 22 with the coated layer 31 at end parts of the projection parts 24 of the magnetic body 22 compression-deformed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
