<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device and an information input method capable of more accurately specifying a keyword and the like. <P>SOLUTION: An information input device includes: a touch panel; an operation information acquisition unit for extracting a keyword from position information externally input to the touch panel; a keyword selection font size storage unit for storing a pre-set font size for selecting the keyword; and a screen information management/generation unit for changing a state of the touch panel into a keyword selection state on the basis of externally input operation information.
