<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a picture taken at an arbitrary picture composition without holding a camera. <P>SOLUTION: When a user poses as illustrated in Figure, three-dimensional coordinates of the user's eye 21 are calculated. Next, three-dimensional coordinates of L-shaped three points formed of user's fingers of one of the left hand 22L or the right hand R, and a vertex of the L shape formed from the other fingers, in total four points, are calculated to specify the three-dimensional coordinates of the rectangular four vertices formed from the fingers of the user. Alternatively, the rectangular four vertices formed from the user's fingers are perspectively projected, with the position of the user's eye 21 defined as a criterion so as to determine an imaging range 23.
