<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a notification without disturbing an on-going processing by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A portable phone terminal (portable electronic device) 1 comprises: a display part 2 which displays a first screen or a second screen; a storage part 24 which associates a character string with a predetermined condition to store them; and a control part 22.
