<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HDL (high density lipoprotein) enhancer for producing a medicine for treating and/or preventing arteriosclerosis, in particular, coronary artery disease such as myocardial infarction and angina pectoris, hyperlipemia, diabetes, obesity, atherosclerosis, hyperglycemia and/or syndrome X. <P>SOLUTION: The compound is exemplified by formula.
