<p>Provided is a control device for an internal combustion engine equipped with a supercharger, with which a decrease in the temperature of the exhaust purification device can be suppressed during a low-temperature operating condition wherein the temperature of the exhaust purification device decreases. The control device is equipped with a turbocharger (20), the exhaust passage (14) of which is equipped with a turbine (20b) that is operated by means of exhaust energy, and with a wastegate valve (36) that controls the opening/closing of an exhaust bypass passage (34) that bypasses the turbine (20b). When a low-temperature operating condition occurs wherein the temperature of an exhaust purification catalyst (38) decreases, the degree of opening of the wastegate valve (36) is controlled in response to whether a high-turbine-temperature condition, wherein the exhaust gas temperature at the downstream region is higher when the exhaust gas has passed through the turbine (20b) than when it has passed through the exhaust bypass passage (34), has occurred.</p> |
