The closure element has a supporting part (1) e.g. cover or flap, comprising a visual side (2) and a function side (3) facing opposite to the visual side. A joining element (4) is arranged in the function side of the supporting part, and a fixing element (5) fixes the supporting part within or over the opening. A centering element (6) positions the supporting part within or over opening in a custom-fit manner, and the fixing element is formed in such a manner that the fixing element is detached from the supporting part. The fixing element is arranged in the centering element.
