The RPMS software includes instructions for connecting rail test car with sensors for spot measurements of track geometry, automatic total station and field computer. The horizontal and vertical variations with respect to tracks are determined and evaluated. The evaluation result is transmitted to automatic total station and field computer for subsequent correction.
