Provided is a viewer device comprising: an execution control unit (30) which distinguishes, within a word balloon in an image which is displayed in a window of a display unit (24), whether all of a translation text of dialogue for the word balloon will fit at a preset text character size; and a display control unit (25) which replaces the original dialogue within the word balloon in the image which is displayed in the window with the translation text of the dialogue and displays the translation text thereof, on the basis of acquired word balloon information and text information. When it is distinguished that all of the translation text of the dialogue will fit within the word balloon, the display control unit (25) displays all of the translation text of the dialogue within the word balloon. When it is distinguished that not all of the translation text of the dialogue will fit within the word balloon, the display control unit (25) enlarges the word balloon and displays the translation text of the dialogue within the enlarged word balloon.
