<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment that can prevent occurrence of screen tearing when an original image is displayed in a reversed or otherwise altered attitude. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 comprises a display module 25 that reads display image data out of a GRAM 41 and displays the data on an LCD 11 and a control module 26 that is coupled to the display module 25 by an external bus 27; a CPU 64, when a mode in which an original image is to be displayed in any other attitude than a reference attitude on the LCD 11 is selected, transfers original image data from a first buffer 62 to a second buffer 63 via an internal bus 65, which is higher in speed than the external bus 27, correspondingly to the selected mode while so reshuffling the positional relationships among pixels as to achieve conversion of the original image data into an attitude matching the selected mode for the original image, and transfers the display image data held in the second buffer 63 to the GRAM 41 of the display module 25 via the external bus 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
