<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost of a motor, and to easily install a slip-off preventive portion to a shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A motor comprises a bearing member 42 which is an oil-containing sintered bearing for supporting a shaft; a bearing holding member 43 in which the bearing member is inserted; and an installation plate 12 fixed to the bearing holding member. The bearing holding member comprises a bearing holding cylinder portion 431 in which the bearing member is inserted, and a flange portion 432 expanded outward in a diametrical direction from a lower end of the bearing holding cylinder portion. The outer peripheral surface of the flange portion includes a positioning surface which is fitted in a hole portion 92 of an installation target to position a center axis to the installation target. The installation plate comprises an opening portion 123 in which the bearing holding cylinder portion is pressed, and an installing portion 121 fixed to the installation target. A lower surface 124 of the installation plate abuts on an upper surface of the flange portion, and a press-in range in which the installation plate is pressed in the bearing holding cylinder portion and an existence range of the bearing member are superimposed in an axial direction.
