<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pitch-changeable transfer device for transferring workpieces with a simple mechanism when transferring to change a pitch between them. <P>SOLUTION: The pitch-changeable transfer device includes a shaft 20 rotated by a driving part 10, a plurality of conveyance heads 30 arranged along the shaft 20 to hold individual workpieces 101, and a direction changing mechanism 40 for converting rotational motion transmitted from the shaft 20 along with rotation of the shaft 20 into linear motion of a direction parallel to its axial direction, and moving one of the conveyance heads 30 other than at least a reference conveyance head 30, along the shaft 20. The other conveyance head 30 includes a transmission mechanism 44 for transmitting the rotation of the shaft 20 to the direction changing mechanism 40 at a predetermined transmission ratio. The transmission mechanism 44 of the other conveyance head 30 is set so that the transmission ratio may be gradually larger as it separates from the reference conveyance head 30 in the row of the conveyance heads 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
