DETECTING DEVICE, ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT, AND ROBOT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting device capable of quickly detecting presence of an external pressure and detecting direction and magnitude of an external pressure in high precision, an electronic equipment, and a robot.

SOLUTION: A detecting device comprises: a detector having a contact sensor 12 for detecting presence of pressure and a pressure component separation mechanism for separating magnitude and direction of pressure; and a controller which controls detecting operation of the pressure component separation mechanism based on a detection result of the contact sensor 12.
