<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a friction loss that is generated by the eccentricity of a synchronizer ring of a synchronizing device. <P>SOLUTION: A concave/convex engagement part which relatively and rotatably connects a synchronizer hub 12 and the synchronizing ring 17 is formed of a plurality of protrusions 17b and a plurality of recesses 12e, first contact faces a formed at circumferential both ends of the protrusions 17b and second contact faces b formed at circumferential both ends of the recesses 12e can face-contact with each other, directions of the first and second contact faces a, b are inclined with respect to a line R in the radial direction so that there is generated a load for energizing the synchronizer ring 17 toward the inside of the radial direction when the contact faces contact with each other, the synchronizer ring 17 is automatically aligned around an axial line L by being biased toward the inside of the radial direction by contact reaction forces F which act on the first and second contact faces a, b, and thus the friction loss can be reduced by preventing the generation of an unnecessary friction force caused by the eccentricity of the synchronizer ring to a gear 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
