<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which efficiently radiates heat generated around a contact part of a brush and a slip ring to an external atmosphere and prevents excessive temperature increase of the brush. <P>SOLUTION: One end of a terminal 9 is joined to an inner peripheral surface of a slip ring 4 to which resin mold 14 is applied, and a lead-out wire winding part 9a to which a lead-out wire 18 of a field magnet coil is connected and a heat radiation part 9b are provided to the other end of the terminal 9 exposed from the resin mold 14.
