摘要 Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to systems for improving the performance of one or more components of a sensor, such as an in vivo analyte sensor, including, for example, continuous and/or automatic in vivo analyte sensors, by detecting inflammation at an insertion site and adjusting the signal of the sensor, adjusting the display of the signal (e.g., inactivation of display), or indicating administration of an anti-inflammatory agent, such as an interleukin 1 receptor antagonist. Embodiments of the present disclosure also relate to analyte determining methods and devices (e.g., electrochemical analyte monitoring systems) that have improved signal response and stability by inclusion of one or more of a clot activator and/or an immunosuppressant proximate to a working electrode of an in vivo analyte sensor. Also provided are systems and methods of using the, for example electrochemical, analyte sensors in analyte monitoring.
