<p>An audio control device comprises: a status distinguishing unit which distinguishes the status of the surroundings when acquiring audio; and a control unit which, in response to audio which is acquired by an audio acquisition unit, applies either an automatic level control which automatically controls gain such that audio levels are constant, or a fixed gain control which fixes gain at a constant value, on the basis of the result of the distinction by the status distinquishing unit.</p> |
