METHOD FOR EVALUATING COSMETIC STATE OF HAIR OR EFFECT OF COSMETIC TREATMENT ON HAIR BY MEASURING INTER-SCALE DISTANCE

A method for evaluating the cosmetic state of hair or the effect of a cosmetic treatment on hair by measuring the inter-scale distance of a sample of hair is provided. The method involves measuring the inter-scale distance of a sample of a hair and calculating the growth rate and/or the diameter of the said sample according to the inter-scale distance and a calibration curve. The method is more precise and more objective than the other traditional classifications and can be carried out in a simple way.
