PURPOSE: A backlight unit, a manufacturing method thereof, and a liquid crystal display device with the same are provided to enhance a heat emitting feature using an air layer of a separate space or a vacuum state. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of LED(Light Emitting Diode) light sources(130) are formed on a printed circuit board. A resin layer(140) is laminated on the printed circuit board. The resin layer induces light forward. A capsule unit(C) shields each surrounding unit of the LED light sources. The capsule unit forms a separate space from the resin layer.
