<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a user intention from travel information of a mobile unit and select an appropriate route. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device comprises a location information acquisition section for acquiring location information indicative of a present location, a route finding section for finding a route to a destination, a route information output section for outputting route information, a route finding condition information storing section capable of storing one or more pieces of route finding condition information that include one or more determination elements and finding method specifying information, the one or more determination elements having on-route information that is information on the route included in the route information and mobile unit information of the mobile unit, and a determination section for determining whether or not the route finding condition information is consistent with the one or more determination elements based on the acquired on-route information and the mobile unit information, and, if the determination section determines that the route finding condition information is consistent with the one or more determination elements, performs route finding using the finding method specifying information included in the route finding condition information to select an appropriate route based on information obtained from the travel of the mobile unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
