<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a preamble having low PAPR and of arbitrary length. <P>SOLUTION: A preamble generator generating a preamble that is used for synchronization of a receiver in an orthogonal frequency division multiplex transmission system and is added to the beginning of data in communication: receives preamble length identification information and position specification information; generates a plurality of elements composing the preamble to be generated based on these information according to a predetermined sequence; then, generates a preamble model; generates the plurality of preambles by applying generated elements to the positions in the preambles showing that the elements are used for data communication among element determination information included in the preamble model; calculates a PAPR corresponding to each of the plurality of preambles; and determines the preamble to be used in the communication that is the preamble corresponding to the minimum PAPR resulting from comparison with the PAPR of each preambles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
