<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera that prevents an increase in size while absorbing impact force. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera comprises: an optical system for providing an image of incident light along an optical axis to an imaging element 25; an optical case 4 that includes a concave part 4e provided with a predetermined area at least on one surface thereof; a camera body that incudes a storage part 2x for storing the optical case in a slidable manner; an impact absorbing member 24 that is arranged between an inner part of the storage part in the camera body and the concave part of the optical case, and that has thickness larger than the depth of the concave part; and a thin plate 23 that is fixed at the impact absorbing member and an inner surface of the camera body. The impact absorbing member, one surface of which is fixed to the concave part and the other surface of which is fixed to the thin plate, absorbs impact with shear force caused to the impact absorbing member when the optical case subjected to impact is displaced in a sliding manner within the storage part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
