<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightning surge protection circuit which has functions of both a 3-pole gas tube arrester and a varistor. <P>SOLUTION: The lightning surge protection circuit comprises a first needle electrode 1 (hereinafter, referred to as the needle electrode 1), a second needle electrode 2 (hereinafter, referred to as the needle electrode 2), and a ground electrode 3.
