JUNCTION FOR ELECTRICALLY CONNECTING POWER GENERATION UNITS OF SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELL

Two adjacent lateral-striped SOFC cells (100, 100) are connected by a connecting member (300) made of metal. The "left side end part of a connecting member (300)" and an "interconnector (30) electrically connected to an air electrode (60) provided on the left side SOFC cell (100)" are joined so as to be electrically connected using joining material (80). Also, the "right side end part of the connecting member (300)" and "an interconnector (30) electrically connected to a fuel electrode (20) provided on the right side SOFC cell (100)" are joined so as to be electrically connected using joining material (80). The interconnectors (30, 30) each joined to one of the two end parts of the metal connecting member (300) by joining material (80) are both formed from a dense conductive ceramic material. Thus, a junction that electrically connects the SOFC power generating units and has high bonding strength and high reliability for the electrical connection can be provided.
