The endoscopy capsule (1) has housing (7) that accommodates a magnetic element (2) that generates magnetic field (M). Another magnetic field is generated by an external magnet system that is rotatably mounted about a rotation axis (4) within the housing. The direction of magnetic field is changed during the rotation (5) of the magnetic element. The rotation axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X). The maximum rotation angle of the magnetic element is about 90[deg] . An independent claim is included for method for navigating endoscopy capsule.
