The method involves defining local area for a part of activities to be performed, and allocating a planning object to a defined local area. Associated planning object descriptive data regarding predetermined criteria is evaluated. Modification of a local object and renewed implementation are provided based on result of evaluation. Planning for the local region is completed and reported to a computer-implemented planning system, and complexity of evaluation process is reduced. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement comprising a chip and/or a processor (2) a computer program having a set of instructions for managing planning activities data.
