PURPOSE: A nut driven type elevator is provided to increase lifting speed of the elevator by lifting a car while driving a screw nut instead of a screw shaft. CONSTITUTION: A nut driven type elevator comprises a main frame, a car(70), a screw shaft, and a drive unit. The main frame is extended to a vertical direction. The car is lifted along the main frame and a boarding space is formed inside the vehicle. The screw shaft is installed between the main frame and the car and is extended in parallel with the main frame. A screw is formed in the outer circumference of the screw shaft. The drive unit lifts the car. |
