<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device capable of suppressing twisting and bending while simplifying the structure of a cultivation tray transferring mechanism for transferring a cultivation tray to be inserted into/taken out of an optionally selected cultivation tray storage shelf, and capable of being operated smoothly and efficiently space-wise. <P>SOLUTION: The plant cultivation device 100 includes: a plurality of cultivation tray storage shelves 110 disposed in a plurality of stages and in a plurality of rows for storing cultivation trays 120 in which a plurality of plant roots S can be cultivated; and the cultivation tray transferring mechanism 150 for transferring the cultivation trays 120.
