<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that includes a narrow optical print head and allows stable positioning without falling to maintain excellent image quality. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a face plate 30 that holds at least a photoreceptor 1 and a developing unit 4 from two directions to determine the position thereof. The face plate 30 includes positioning reference surfaces 32, 33 respectively for a focusing direction and a sub-scanning direction of an optical print head 3, and determines the position by bringing the positioning reference surfaces 32, 33 into contact with the optical print head 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
