<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage regulating device for regulating a voltage from a transmission end to a terminal in a low voltage distribution line within a range of specified values using a current detector having a small detection current and a small mounting space. <P>SOLUTION: This voltage regulating device regulates the output voltage of a pole transformer 10 which includes a step-down transformer 11 having a primary winding connected to a high voltage distribution line 1a and a secondary winding for stepping down the voltage of the primary winding, and series transformers T1a, T2a having primary windings connected in series to the secondary winding of the step-down transformer and also connected to a low voltage distribution line 1b, and secondary windings for generating voltages in the primary windings; and feeds power to loads connected to a plurality of spots between the transmission end to the terminal in the low voltage distribution line. The voltage regulating device includes current detectors 22a, 22b for detecting currents in the secondary windings of the series transformers, a voltage detector 23 for detecting a voltage of the secondary winding of the step-down transformer or the output voltage of the pole transformer, and a voltage regulating circuit 20 for regulating voltages of the secondary windings of the series transformers so that the voltage from the transmission end to the terminal in the low voltage distribution line falls within the range of specified values based on a detected current of the current detector, a detected voltage of the voltage detector, and distribution line impedance of the low distribution line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
