<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make precision of detection to be high, namely, to reduce missing and erroneous detection in a specific person detection system and a specific person detection method. <P>SOLUTION: The specific person detection system which has means detecting an arbitrary character from a photographed image and means obtaining similarity from feature collation of a list of the specific persons and the character and detecting the specific person and which is constituted of an imaging device, a detection device and terminal device includes: means obtaining a photographing condition of the character; means obtaining the photographing condition of the most similar person; means determining directionality of the next photographing condition from comparison of both the conditions; means controlling the imaging device in accordance with determination; and means detecting the specific person by using the photographed image under the plurality of conditions, which are obtained from the control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
